Situated on a delightful family owned farm, under license with the YHA, this 4* Youth Hostel provides family/child friendly accommodation suitable for groups or singles who enjoy the countryside. We are located 8 miles from Salisbury, only 3 miles from Stonehenge and other fascinating prehistoric and early Saxon English sites.
You can book for a delicious meal in our licensed cafe cooked by our own chefs or book your own 'take away' with a glass of wine. We have a total of 70 beds spread over 14 rooms containing 2-10 in each. Many of our rooms are en-suite and are available to book either privately or on a dorm basis.
As our welcome guests, your bed linen is provided for you. Evening meals and cooked breakfasts are available for an additional fee but particularly during the winter season, we kindly ask you to pre-book your meals in advance either by email or telephone. Accommodation prices start from just £17.45 p/adult and £13.45 p/child per night on a dorm basis.
Entrance to our adjoined business, Cholderton Charlie’s farm park, is free of charge and you are invited to explore it at your leisure during your stay with us. As well as seeing the many animals, browsing our shop and perhaps enjoying one of our homemade cakes with a cup of tea in our Ewe Tree Cafe, it offers a range of daily activities including the famous pig racing and large indoor play barn. We are certain you will find something to please and entertain the whole family!
In the evenings, why not treat yourself to a glass of wine from our licensed bar before taking the opportunity to sit back, relax and unwind in either our lounge, conservatory or outside seating areas where the wonderful views and hopefully the sunshine will be waiting to greet you. If you don’t fancy cooking your own meal in our self catering kitchen, we have a range of delicious home cooked meals available to you from as little as £8.95pp for two courses (Must be booked in advance).
